After the whole Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton gambling/gun-in-the-locker-room ordeal, looks like the Washington Wizards NBA team is finally moving on.
As if to usher in the new Generation of John Wall, rookie guard phenom, the Wizards are rolling out these swagged-out new uniforms and logos.
Creative Brief: Their uniforms are designed to resemble the glory days of the Washington Bullets, hence the bold retro color scheme and font design.
Verdict: Throw-back? How about throw-away?
Not really feeling this one, the colors clash and anybody whose ever been stopped by the Fashion Police know that horizontal stripes look terrible. The new Wizards uniforms look like never-been-washed CBA uniforms found at an old rummage sale.
Call it “Old-school” if you want, but it looks like these uniform designers need to go back to school.
