The Fall of the NBA: Exposed in Web Metrics
Everybody has an online “routine.” Open up your favorite browser (mine being Chrome), click open your favorite sites in sequence and do your daily business.
My online routine was cemented after the thousands of times I practiced it: Open up my personal Gmail, check my Fraternity Gmail account, Facebook for any overnight notifications, then NBA.com to get my daily dose of basketball.

Steve Jobs: Cupertino without its Core
Apple and I were neighbors. We grew up in the quiet suburb of Cupertino, the Land of 20 City Parks and Frozen Yogurt joints.
It was the very same city where wannabe “gang-fights” happened in front of the Library and Civic Center, where most peoples’ IQ was greater than their body weight
From sixth grade until...

Mano a Mano en el Baño →
In 5 years, this may be the most Epic Digital Campaign ever. OldSpice is taking their “Old Spice Guy” campaign to the next level, pairing Isaiah Mustafa vs. Fabio.

Achieving the Dream: Saatchi Story
It seems that you really can achieve your dream if you put your mind, body, and spirit into it. In Sophomore year of high school I was given a copy of a conspicuously red book titled “Lovemarks: the future beyond brands.”
My high school teacher/mentor/advisor/partner-in-crime Mr. Carl Schmidt hoped that we would take away some of the insightful points that the book covered and apply...
I Poked the Box
Seth Godin’s newest work Poke the Box is about doing things. It’s about taking action, going bold, and fulfilling your ambitions.
The first page asks: When was the last time you did something you’ve never done before?
My goal is to do something I”ve never done before, everyday. Building new experiences and learning from them is what life is really...
To Things that Matter
So I realized that I’ve been spending far too much time on outside things. I haven’t been bored in 6 months. I’m always doing something.
Internships. Fraternity. Work. Sure, my resume is getting fatter and fatter, but at what cost?
So I looked up to the night sky yesterday and saw how amazing it was. It was at that moment the phrase “stop and smell the roses”...

Eulogy for Baron Davis
Even with the baddest, manliest, most amazing beard in professional sports, former All-Star Baron Davis just got, for lack of better word, shafted.
Just last week he was throwing highlight lob passes to emerging stud-muffin Blake Griffin and pushing for that last playoff spot in the Western Conference.
And now? Well, I wouldn’t be the happiest man in the world...
